As you know, in January, Eaton agreed to sell our Hydraulics business to Danfoss, a leading supplier of energy-efficient hydraulic solutions headquartered in Denmark. As a valued customer/ distributor, we wanted to take a moment to provide you with a quick update on how planning for the sale is progressing.

Since the agreement with Danfoss was announced, representatives of both companies have been meeting frequently as each company prepares for the transaction closing. I’m happy to report that good progress is being made.

This will be the coming together of two very strong businesses. The enhanced product portfolio and combined geographic coverage will better serve our customers and channel partners. We are looking forward to this sale – knowing it will be good for both our business and our people.
